1.Who we are

Visa Lane ("we", "us") is a visa and travel concierge service based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This policy explains how we handle personal data when you use our website, our app or our services.

We process personal data in line with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data and, where applicable, the data protection rules of the countries you apply to.

2.What we collect

Contact details: name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number.

Identity and travel documents you upload: passports, Emirates ID, residence visa, photographs, financial statements, employment letters, bookings and similar papers needed for a visa application, for you and for the travellers you add.

Application details: destination, travel dates, purpose of travel, employment status, family relationships.

Payment information is handled by our payment provider; we store only the status and reference of a payment, never your card number.

Technical data: device type, browser, pages visited and approximate location, used to keep the service working and secure.

3.Why we use it

To assess your eligibility, prepare and review your visa application and book appointments on your behalf.

To communicate with you about your application by email, WhatsApp, SMS or in the app.

To take payment for our services and issue invoices.

To improve our service, including automated reading of passports and pre-checks of documents by AI tools. A person on our team reviews every file; automated checks never decide an outcome on their own.

To comply with legal obligations, including record-keeping and requests from authorities.

4.Who sees it

Our advisors, strictly to work on your file.

Embassies, consulates, visa application centres and government authorities, when you ask us to lodge an application.

Service providers that host our systems, send messages, process payments or run AI checks, under contracts that limit what they may do with the data. Some are located outside the UAE; we only use providers with adequate safeguards.

We never sell personal data.

5.How long we keep it

Documents in your vault stay until you delete them or close your account. Application records are kept for five years after the last activity to meet accounting and legal requirements, then deleted or anonymised.

6.Your rights

You may ask to see, correct, download or delete your personal data, object to certain uses, or withdraw consent. Write to the email address on our contact page; we respond within 30 days.

You may also complain to the UAE Data Office or the data protection authority of your country.

7.Security

Data travels over encrypted connections and is stored on access-controlled servers. Documents are never shared by public links. Staff access is logged.

8.Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in, remember your language and protect forms from abuse. We do not use advertising cookies.
