Terms of service
Draft: this wording is a starting point and must be reviewed by a UAE-licensed lawyer before launch.
1.What we do
Visa Lane provides visa application assistance: guidance on requirements, document checklists and reviews, completion of application forms on your instructions, appointment booking where offered, and updates on progress. We are an independent service provider and are not affiliated with any embassy, consulate, visa application centre or government.
2.What we cannot promise
Visa decisions, processing times, appointment availability and government fees are set solely by the relevant authorities. We cannot guarantee that a visa will be granted, that it will be granted by a certain date, or that an appointment will be available. Our fee is for our work, not for the outcome.
3.Your responsibilities
You must give us true, complete and current information and documents, and tell us promptly if anything changes. You are responsible for the content of your application even where we complete forms on your behalf; you confirm each application before it is submitted.
You must not upload documents belonging to others without their permission, and you are responsible for the travellers you add to your account.
4.Fees and payment
Service fees are quoted per traveller and shown before you pay. Government, embassy, visa-centre, courier, insurance and other third-party fees are additional and payable separately, usually directly to those bodies.
Payment is due when your file is ready for submission. We will not lodge an application until the service fee is paid. Prices are in UAE dirhams and include VAT where applicable.
5.Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel before payment at no cost. After payment but before submission, we refund the service fee less the work already done, which we will itemise. Once an application is lodged with an authority, the service fee is non-refundable. Government fees paid to third parties are never refundable by us.
6.Company and agency accounts
An organisation account owner is responsible for the people they invite and for payment of all applications started under the account. Agreed discounts and invoicing terms are confirmed in writing and may be withdrawn for non-payment.
7.Liability
To the extent permitted by UAE law, our liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the service fee paid for the application concerned. We are not liable for refused visas, missed travel, or losses caused by inaccurate information you provided or by decisions of authorities.
8.Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. Disputes are subject to the courts of Dubai.
